Secret Garden Wedding Location Package Agreement
This Agreement is entered into by and between the above named Client ("Client") and Secret Garden, operator of Secret Garden Wedding Location ("Operator"), collectively referred to as "the Parties."
1. Package Overview
Location: The package includes access to the Secret Garden location for the duration of the event.
Decor: Provided by A Touch Of Glass Rentals, with additional items available at a discounted rate.
Entertainment: Provided exclusively by Summer Bounce Entertainment.
Pricing: as noted on the pricing page
2. Payment Terms
Initial Deposit: 30% due upon signing the agreement.
Second Payment: 40% due 90 days prior to the event.
Final Payment: Remaining balance due 30 days prior to the event.
3. Venue Access and Use
Accessibility: Full wheelchair access to all areas, including the bridal lounge and ceremony sites.
Capacity: The tent capacity is up to 200 guests.
Bridal Lounge: Available for the wedding party, equipped with mirrors and privacy partitions.
Parking: 100-vehicle capacity with no overnight parking allowed.
4. Service Provisions
Sound and Music: Provided 30 minutes before ceremony and reception start time. Ends at midnight.
Decor Items: Decor credit provided by Touch Of Glass. Personal decor removal by 1 AM.
Ceremony Contingency: Client can rearrange the reception tent for the ceremony with 1-hour notice.
5. Restrictions and Responsibilities
Candles: Only flameless candles permitted.
Pets: Allowed until 30 minutes before sunset, must be leashed and removed post-event.
Outside Vendors: Only approved vendors are permitted for extra decoration services.
Clean-Up: Clients are responsible for clean-up of personal items only.
6. Food and Beverage
Catering: Is provided by Pioneer Catering only.
Alcohol Service: Client is responsible for obtaining their alcohol and the permit for the same. An professional approved bar tender must be utilized to service alcohol with a valid serving it safe certificate
Alcohol service must stop promptly at 11:30PM
7. Liability and Insurance
7% Damage Waiver: Covers accidental damage up to $2,000 CAD. Client is responsible for paying for damages over and above that.
Event Insurance: $1,000,000.00 CAD minimum coverage required with the venue listed as first additional insured.
8. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation by Client must be provided in writing.
Cancellation Fees:
More than 90 days before the event: Forfeit of initial deposit.
60-90 days before the event: Forfeit 70% of the total package cost.
Less than 60 days before the event: Forfeit 100% of the total package cost.
Cancellation Due to Weather or Acts of God: The venue will work with the Client to reschedule, subject to availability.
Final Provisions: The Client acknowledges that they have read and understood the terms of this agreement and agree to be bound by them. Any modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
Governing Law:
This agreement shall be governed by the law of the jurisdiction where the wedding location resides.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties hereto have executed this Wedding Location Package Agreement as of the date first above written and electronic signatures are deemed to be legally binding.
